  • Recycle Responsibly

What does it mean to recycle? We use that word often and in many ways. Merriam Webster defines recycling as putting waste items through processes or treatments of which the materials produced are then to be reused in another fashion. It’s almost become second nature to recycle something rather than put it into general waste. Usually an item at the end of its current life can still be useful when broken down further and be used for another purpose, ultimately reducing the amount of waste going to the landfill. This is why it’s important to recycle responsibly and know what of your waste can be recycled and how you can recycle it.

Waste Reduction Week in Canada is happening across Canada October 16 to 22. Waste Reduction Week in Canada is a national environmental campaign that builds awareness around issues of sustainable and responsible consumption, encourages choice for more environmentally responsible products/services, and promotes actions that divert more waste from disposal and conserve natural resources.
